Formlabs Fuse Sift is an efficient part extraction and SLS powder recovery, storage and mixing system for Fuse 1 3D printer. This easy-to-use station creates a safe workflow for extracting prints and sifting, storing, dosing and mixing SLS powder. All this in one device - the maximum functionality available in the SLS market.

How Fuse Sift works

  • The negative air pressure system keeps the powder inside while still providing open access and easy cleaning. Fine powder remains incide the working chamber and will not get into the working room. Open access under the hood and easy parts cleaning with the built-in vacuum hose.
  • Low waste. 30% material refresh rate - you can print with up to 70% recycled powder. The Fuse Sift filters out particles to be remixed with new powder and reused in future prints.
  • Automatic Powder Mixing. Fuse Sift automatically doses and mixes used and new powder so you can reduce waste and control powder flow.
  • Continuous SLS printing. By transferring modular Build Chambers and Powder Cartridges between Fuse 1 and Fuse Sift, create a continuous cyclical SLS printing process.
  • Complete Toolbox. Fuse Sift includes a complete set of finishing tools. They will help to easily remove excess powder from printed parts.
