ASA 275 filament Spectrum UV and thermal resistance
ASA 275 filament is an ultraviolet and high temperature resistant professional material designed for desktop 3D printers. The composition of Spectrum ASA 275 has been specially modified to make the material more flexible, improve yield strength, reduce shrinkage and increase adhesion between layers.
One of the main benefits of modifying the ASA 275 is its simple print settings - it can be printed almost as easily as Premium PLA. This allows you to make large models without the risk of deformation after cooling, as well as print at relatively high speeds.
ASA 275 filament is a material that is resistant to UV radiation and other weather conditions. ASA 275 can be used to print prototypes, functional production tools, as well as elements that must withstand changing weather conditions, as well as everyday items.
ASA 275 characteristics
- Excellent resistance to external exposure and changing weather conditions
- Good thermal resistance HDT – 85 °C
- Vicat softening temperature – 94 °C
- Resistance to UV radiation,
- Perfect interlayer adhesion,
- Ability to print on desktop printers without a heated chamber
- High speed printing (up to 200mm/s)
- Glossy print surface,
- Ease of printing comparable to classic PLA.
ASA 275 usage

ASA 275 Packaging
The thread weighing 1.0 kg is wound on a transparent spool, which contains information about the type of material, diameter, color and recommended printing temperature. Each coil is packed in a vacuum with a dehumidifier. All in the original Spectrum Filaments foil cardboard.
Coil dimensions
- Outer diameter - 200 mm.
- Width - 67 mm.
- Inner diameter - 52 mm.
- Weight of empty coil - ± 250 g.
Verify quality of 3D plastic thread
Spectrum Filaments is the only company in Poland and one of the few in the world that has a tool for testing purchased filaments. VERIFY YOUR SPOOL is the most accurate quality control system on the market, ensuring that Spectrum Filaments products meet his stringent requirements.
Filament for 3D printers is produced by free extrusion, which is one of the most difficult extrusion processing technologies, due to the particularly significant influence of process parameters on product dimensions and material homogenization. During the manufacturing process, each 1mm of Spectrum Filaments is continuously measured in 2 axes with an accuracy of ±0.8 µm, resulting in a quality end product. To prove this, Spectrum Filaments, as one of the few manufacturers in the world, has introduced the possibility of an online presentation, individually for each coil produced:
- diameter travel along the entire length of the coil;
- average diameter;
- ovality;
- standard deviation.
