Rigid 10K Resin glass-filled material for SLA Printing

Formlabs Rigid 10K Resin for SLA 3D printing contains fiberglass for extra rigidity and strength. Products made from Rigid 10K are especially highly resistant to deformation, they withstand significant loads without bending, and have a smooth surface. Rigid 10K is highly resistant to heat and chemicals.

This high glass-filled photopolymer is the most rigid material in the Formlabs engineering materials library. The "10K" in the name represents the Tensile Modulus of the material. If you want a less rigid material, try Rigid 4000 Resin.

Printer compatibility: Form2, Form 3/3+, Form 3B/3B+, Form 3L, Form 3BL.

Resin Tank Compatibility: Form 2 LT, Form 3 Tank V2/V2.1, Form 3L Tank.

Work Platform Compatibility: Form 3 Build Platform, Form 3 Build Platform 2, Form 3L Build Platform.

Print quality: on Form 2, Form 3+/3B+ 3D printers - 50, 100 microns; Form 3L/3BL - 100 µm.

Requires post-curing.

Rigid 10K in 3D printing

The properties of Rigid 10K are used in photopolymer printing of rigid and durable industrial prototypes with smooth thin walls and high dimensional accuracy working with aggressive environments and in the high temperature zone. In addition, the material has shown itself well in the creation of injection molds for the traditional production of small and medium batches of plastic products.

Rigid 10K is not recommended for:

• Details to be bent.
• Surfaces with a low coefficient of friction.
